Hit the Wrong Button!

Has anyone else had this happen? I hit the Help icon, thinking it was for usual help (turns out it’s a roadside emergency button - oops!). Now my display is totally frozen, and I’m stuck with no way to control anything. I’ve tried soft resets, holding down the emergency button, and pretty much everything else I can think of. My app isn’t fully synced with the car either. Any ideas or tips? Lotus Customer Care is on it, but I’m crossing my fingers someone here might have a quick fix. TIA.

My apologies I just saw this. Seems like I'm not the only one too lol. My dealer did a full system reset for it to be back to normal.

The screen freeze sounds more like a software glitch. If the soft reset didn’t work, maybe leave the car off for a bit and try again. Lotus support seems pretty responsive lately, so hopefully they’ll sort it out quickly.

Since you've already tried restarting the system and Lotus support is helping you should wait for their instructions. They might need to guide you through a more complicated reset or send someone to disconnect the car;s battery. while you wait keep a record of everything that happened and take a video of the frozen screen if you can to help them figure out the problem.
