Eletre Forward Collision Alarm Going Crazy!

My dad’s Eletre’s forward collision alarm has totally gone haywire! It’s freaking out every time it spots oncoming traffic on the other side of the road, and it even slammed on the brakes out of nowhere! Is there any way to turn that thing off? It’s driving us crazy!

Try restarting your car first. I think that's just a software bug. It would be best if you'll bring it to Lotus. Did you check your sensors and cameras if they're in good condition?

A collision alarm that's constantly going off and randomly braking is really dangerous! check the car's safety settings to see if you can adjust or turn off the alarm. But if it's braking on its own it's a serious problem and you shouldn't drive the car. Take it to the dealer right away. They need to check the sensors and software and maybe fix or update them. This kind of problem could cause a crash so don't take any risks.
