Had a flat tire at EG Garage (screw on the forecourt, naturally ). The national chain's "repair" was a joke. Leaked worse, PLUS they lost my valve cap. Local garage confirmed it: unfixable, patch fell off. Had to get a new tire, but the kicker? There were only three of my Pirelli P Zero tires. Thank goodness the independent garage had a valve cap. EG Garage? Didn't care. I suggested they sweep their forecourt once in a while.

I have never had an experience like this. I understand it must be frustrating. Now you know that some "repairs" can worsen things. Good that the independent garage was able to help.

It’s so awful when a national chain messes up a simple repair, and then doesn’t take responsibility. Glad the local garage had your back, though.
