Could the quick battery drain be from something keeping the fob constantly active, like being stored near other wireless devices?

Have you checked if the tire pressures are even, or if there’s any visible damage to the wheels? Also, is the auto-lock option grayed out in the settings, or just hard to locate?

Key fob quirks aren’t uncommon, I had something similar happen with a new EV. Sometimes, a fob needs to be re-synced to the car after a battery replacement.

The cabin sensors might not be reading the actual temperature near you accurately. Try using seat and steering wheel heaters to supplement and see if adjusting the airflow direction helps.
