Had a seriously freaky experience last night when someone actually tried to break into my car. They went as far as trying to smash the passenger window, but the alarm didnt’ even go off. Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of the alarm system? Also, does my car have some sort of built-in dashcam or security footage I can check out?

Yikes, that's scary! Pretty sure you can tweak the alarm sensitivity, but it might mean a quick trip to the dealership or messing around in the cars’ app or infotainment system. As for built-in dashcams, hmm….. not 100% on that one. Try to check the manual or just go straight to the dealer and let them clear it all up for ya. Goodluck!

Ugh, I’m still kinda on edge after that. I’ll check out the alarm settings and see if I can adjust it myself, but you’re right, might just be easier to swing by the dealer. Thanks for the dashcam tip! I’ll take a look at the manual too, though fingers crossed I don’t have to go all the way to the dealership just for that. Would be nice if it had a built-in security cam, but I’m not holding my breath. Appreciate it!

Have you been able to resolve the issue? This is a serious problem, especially for those of us who park our cars outside. It needs to be addressed immediately.
