Eletre's probably throwing a fit because of communication issues or some voltage discrepancies between the Tesla Supercharger network and the Eletre's charging system. Even with the CCS adapter it's not always a seamless connection. Likely a software issue on either Lotus's or Tesla's end and it's frustrating as heck when you're stranded.
Since it's a new car, you're probably gonna be relying on Lotus to push an update to fix it but it's worth reporting the issue to Tesla too just to put pressure on both sides. In the meantime, you're stuck relying on other CCS chargers, which, yeah, isn't ideal. Hopefully, they get this sorted soon.
