Previous key fobs were known to drain batteries quickly due to constant signal transmission. However, later models addressed this issue by only transmitting signals while in motion. I would recommend contacting your local dealership to see if a warranty repair is possible.

It's all about personal preference. Some people like it, others don't. It's a cool feature, but I'm not sure how useful it really is 💁‍♂️
