So I finally got to test my Lotus in the snow, and while it's surprisingly okay, it definitely struggles in the slush.

Dropping it into Range mode helped, but I can't shake the feeling it needs a dedicated snow/ice mode. Has anyone else tried the winter in their Lotus in the past? Any tips or tricks to share? A snow mode would be a game-changer!

I gave mine a spin last winter, and while the traction control isn’t as slick as my old Tesla, it still handled pretty well. Just curious - what kind of tires does your car have: summer, winter, or all-season?

While this car handles beautifully in most conditions, it is recommended for winter tires for optimal performance on snow or ice. A mid-engine, 400-horsepower vehicle can be challenging to control in such conditions without the added grip of winter tires.

I took mine for a spin in the snow! Even though it has bigger tyres, they didn’t really make a huge difference. Handling was still solid, though. Gotta remember, with a big beast like this, physics plays its part. Next time, I’m definitely gonna mess around with different driving modes, didn't even touch the other ones last time!

I am a little bit confused about your post. You said you just tested the Lotus in the snow. But it was August when you did that. How so?

even though the Eletre is super high tech, it struggles a bit in slushy icy stuff. it needs a proper "snow mode" like other cars have. The "Range" mode helps a little but a real snow mode would make the wheels spin less and give the right amount of power, so you don't slide. Messing with the traction control and how the car slows down (regenerative braking) can make it handle better. It would be awesome if Lotus added a snow mode in a future update that would make winter driving way easier.
