I’m dealing with this super annoying issue in my car’s heating system. I crank the heat all the way up, but nothing - no warm air at all.

Got any ideas on how to fix this? I’m really trying to dodge the dealership if I can swing it!

This could be a software or hardware issue. First, check if there are any pending software updates for the Eletre, sometimes these glitches are resolved with new firmware. Also, make sure the heat pump is engaging properly, listen for any odd sounds when activating the heater. If the system is completely unresponsive, it could be a sensor issue or a problem with the HVAC control unit. While DIY fixes can help, the dealership might be needed if it’s a hardware fault.

Start by checking your coolant level as low coolant can stop the heater from working. If the coolant is fine it could be a blown fuse a broken heater core or a problem with the air flow control. Without special tools it;s hard to know exactly what's wrong. Unless you're comfortable checking car fuses and parts, you'll probably need to take it to the dealer. Modern car heating is complicated and you don't want to accidentally damage anything.
