Is V2H or V2G in EVs worth the wait?

I'm thinking about getting an electric family car, but I've got solar panels at home and I'm wondering if it's worth holding off until I can find a car that can send power back to the grid (V2G) or to my house (V2H). Anyone know of any EVs that can do this?

I don't want to buy a bunch of extra batteries for my house if I can just use the car's battery instead.

My friend in Europe feels like it's too soon to buy a car with V2H/V2G. There are a lot of tests happening, but not many home chargers can actually send power back to the grid. And when he can find one, they're really expensive. Plus, nobody really agrees on how it should all work yet, and there aren't any clear rules about it.
He’s really excited about using his car's battery to store extra solar power, especially since he works from home. But he thinks it's better to wait until everything's more figured out.

That’s a smart consideration...Some EVs, like the Nissan Leaf and Ford F-150 Lightning, have V2G or V2H capabilities. It could save you on extra batteries.

The Cupra Born as well. Anyway, the technology is still emerging, and I think we will see a broader adoption in upcoming EV models.
