What's Lotus Customer Service Like?

I'm taking the plunge into EVs and eyeing the Lotus Eletre - this car looks like it’s straight out of a sci-fi flick! The hype around it is pretty exciting, but I’m a little anxious about how Lotus handles their customers. Got any juicy stories or tips? Would love to hear your thoughts!
 
I've heard a lot of good things about the dealership in Naples, FL. I would not recommend Hi-Tech Motorcars in Austin, Texas. They have a bad rep according to some friends.

I'm curious to know what factors you prioritize when choosing an EV. Are you primarily concerned with aesthetics, performance, or range?
 
Lotus has historically been more focused on performance engineering than luxury service, but the Eletre seems to be part of a shift toward a more premium experience. Customer service feedback seems mixed depending on location, so I’d recommend checking if your dealer is an official Lotus partner or part of their newer premium network for better support.
 
Hey! From past experience, Lotus, being a smaller brand, has had some parts availability issues, leading to service delays even with good, nearby dealers. However, the current Lotus EVs are designed and made by their parent company, Geely, not traditional Lotus UK, so past issues might not apply. Hopefully, the new EV won’t need much service, but some teething problems with a new design are pretty common. Just a thought!
