Leaving Eletre Unplugged for Months

Oh man, I gotta share this - earlier this year, we left our Eletre in this freezing cold, unheated container for two whole months, and the battery barely budged! It went from 69% to just 67%! How wild is that? Totally epic, if you ask me! Anyone else had their EV batteries hold onto their charge for ages, especially in the cold? Here’s hoping the battery stays healthy for the long haul!

Next time to be safe, disconnect the 12V battery before leaving the car for an extended period, especially if you can't use a battery tender.

My buddy leaves his unplugged for weeks at a time, and he hasn't had any issues.

Here's the trick: you have to turn off the alarm if you're going to leave it parked for a long time. With the alarm off, he estimates it only loses about a mile of range per day. But with the alarm on, the sensors are always running, and he noticed it can drain about a mile of range every hour!

He has the Long Range version with a 320-mile range, so theoretically, the battery should last around 320 days without charging if the alarm is off.

He has the 2020 model, by the way.
