Man, the Lotus Eletre kicks off at $107k, and the Eletre R is a whopping $145k. That’s a serious chunk of change! For less money, you could get a loaded Macan Turbo that’s just as quick, better built, and has a ton more dealers around. Seems like Lotus is swinging for the fences with these prices, but might be striking out. Anyone else think the Eletre is way too pricey?

As much as I love the Eletre, I agree, it's not worth the price. If the base Eletre started at $80k and the Eletre R was priced around $115k it could be a very successful model.

Following the Biden administration's decision to significantly increase tariffs on Chinese-made electric vehicles, Lotus was forced to raise the price of its all-electric Eletre hyper-SUV.

Add- Hopefully things will change with the Trump administration.

Those prices are crazy high! Lotus is stepping up, but they’ll need to bring something totally next-level to stand out in that crowd.
